Brett Walters

Brett Walters, a graduate of Findlay College in Equine Studies, is the founder, owner and head trainer at Walters Equestrian Center. Brett specializes in training horses for open, youth, amateur, novice and 4-H riders. He has had state and national success with his clients and horses in events such as Reining, Ranch Riding, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Trail, Western Pleasure, Equitation and Hunter Under Saddle. He has trained World and Reserve World Champions, Congress Champions and Reserve Congress Champions and numerous Congress Top Ten placings.

In his own successful show career, Brett's awards include Champion and Reserve Champion at Quarter Horse Congress, Reserve Champion at the Palomino World Championships, multiple Arizona and Indiana Quarter Horse awards and numerous National Reining Horse Association regional and national titles. Brett was named the 2016 NRHA Youth Trainer of the Year.

He is a past President of the Arizona Quarter Horse Association, Arizona Reining Horse Association, and Indiana Reining Horse Association. Brett is an AQHA and NRHA Professional Horseman and serves on the NRHA Board. He is a member of the AQHA, IQHA, NSBA, NRHA, and APHA.

Brett holds NRHA, AQHA, and USEF Reining Judges cards and has judged the NRHA Futurity, NRHA Derby, NRBC, All-American Quarter Horse Congress, Canadian Arabian Nationals, European Derby and multiple NRHA shows around the U.S.A.
